JIS G3459 Standard: Technical Requirements for Stainless Steel Pipes
Specification and Purpose of Pipes According to JIS G3459
The Japanese Industrial Standard JIS G3459 defines the technical requirements for seamless and welded corrosion-resistant steel pipes. These products, supplied by EV Group China, are intended for the installation of piping systems operating in aggressive environments, as well as under extreme temperature conditions — from cryogenic to high-temperature processes.
Technical Notes:
Upon agreement with the customer, additional quality requirements reflected in the standard's appendices can be included in the specification:
- Z2: Yield strength or stress control at elevated temperatures.
- Z3: Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Z4: Eddy current testing for structural integrity.
- Z6: Intergranular corrosion resistance testing.
