EN 10095 Standard: Heat-Resistant Steels and Nickel Alloys

Specification and Scope of the EN 10095 Standard

The EN 10095 standard regulates the technical delivery conditions for a wide range of wrought steels and specialized nickel alloys. This normative document covers materials intended for use in extreme temperature conditions (exceeding 550oC), where high resistance to oxidation upon contact with hot gases and combustion products is the determining factor.

These technological conditions apply to semi-finished products, including flat products (hot-rolled or cold-rolled), as well as bars and rods that have undergone hot or cold deformation processes. EV Group China ensures the supply of metal products that fully comply with these industrial requirements.

Certain steel grades described in EN 10088-1 and EN 10028-7 may also be used for heat-resistant applications; their list is provided in informative Annex D of the standard.

When supplying metal products, EV Group China applies the general technical delivery conditions of EN 10021, which supplement the requirements of this standard unless otherwise specified in the order.

It is important to note that the standard does not cover products subjected to extensive subsequent processing that significantly alters the physical and mechanical properties of the material. Furthermore, EN 10095 is not the normative basis for equipment operating under pressure.
