Beryllium bronze of UNS C17000 grade, also known as Alloy 165, is a precipitation-hardening copper-based alloy. This material is designed to achieve a unique balance between high ductility in the homogenized (annealed) state and excellent strength characteristics after heat treatment (aging). EV Group China technologists use this alloy to manufacture critical components requiring high fatigue strength, wear resistance, and adequate electrical and thermal conductivity. Its excellent formability in the soft state allows for complex cold forming methods, making it indispensable in the production of precision springs, connectors, relays, and components for the aerospace and oil and gas industries.
